We had a faulty bobber valve on the holding tank for our fire sprinkler system causing it to overflow. Howard installed a new bobber valve and a shutoff valve. Howard was amazing. Quick response, really good about explaining work and setting expectations, paid a lot of attention to detail, great demeanor. A++

Had our well pump stop working on a Friday night. Called a different well servicer and they came and made an off-hours call. The quote they gave to replace the pump and restore water was going to be $12k. We decided to get a second opinion and my father in law said to call Dave at Ralph’s. I told him what the other servicer had told me. He quoted the job at $4k, Dave came out that Monday and told us everything was fine and our controller just needed to be adjusted and a valve replaced. He refunded the deposit on the pump replacement and just charged me for the valve and a service call. They saved us $12k and the customer service was amazing.

Ralphs was awesome! I had a well, pump and controller installed by another company (that I will never call again). The other company did not respond to my calls when I had an issue less than 3 years after the installation (pump stopped working suddenly). I called Ralphs because that's who the pump manufacture recommended I call, and they serviced other peoples wells that I know (everyone I talked to recommended calling Ralphs). Dave and Howard were at my house within 2 hours of calling them. Dave and Howard looked at the pump and the fault code and knew what he needed to fix the issue. He could have just ordered the part and repaired the well after the part arrived, but he instead took apart a new pump kit he had on his truck to repair my well on the spot. He did not have to do that, but he did to get my families well going. Within minutes of them arriving our well was back up and running. Howard was covered in mud from laying on the ground to make the repair, with a smile on his face.
Thanks Dave and Howard! you forever have mine and anyone else that I knows business.

Our well has not been working for the past 8 months. We received a quote from Specialty Pump & Well 8 months ago who told us our well was dry and gave us a $17,000 quote to potentially fix the problem. This didn't sound right to us and we finally got a second opinion today from Ralph's Pump & Well who fixed 2 wires right away for just $200. I am glad we trusted our gut but wished we had known to call Ralph's for a second opinion much earlier. All the staff we worked with were very friendly, knowledgeable, prompt, and honest. We will never go anywhere else. Thank you so much Ralph's!

Can't say enough good things about Ralph's! Dave, the owner, came and evaluated our system. We had a zero pressure situation. He could have easily said "the pump is bad". That would have cost us thousands of dollars. Instead, he suggested we do a leak detection evaluation...then update the pressure switch and control board. We went down that path and he got us up and running for the bare minimum. Thanks Dave and Ralph's!!

Dave from Ralph's Pump and Well was was excellent all around, and he saved me literally thousands of dollars. My well went out on a weekend, and I knew they didn't work weekends, but I called anyhow and got through to him. I paid another company to come out Sat., and they had given me what I figured what a very high estimate (lowest option $11,500!) . Dave told me he was usually 25-30% less than them, and could come out Mon. When he arrived, he diagnosed a different problem, noted that the set-up had been done by an amateur (correct; it was a local farmer) and gave me a lower estimate. We still replaced the pump itself, too, as he pointed out the expense was mostly labor he'd already be doing and the pump was pretty old. Once he was finished, he then told me it would be $1000 less than the estimate I had signed, as he didn't have to go as deep. I would have given him that extra $1000 without ever knowing, and yet he had the integrity to let me know it was less!! My final bill was literally less than 1/2 of what the other company quoted, and he knew far better what was going on. Thank you, Dave!!

Couldn't find a more helpful guy than Dave!
My situation was a bit strange - we never actually had any work done by Ralph's Pump because we don't own the well and the owners insist on using a different company. But when we had issues a few weeks ago, I wanted to get a second opinion.
So I called around to get some recommendations, and a couple people recommended that I call Dave. So I did. Over the next several days, he probably spent a total of 3-4 hours on the phone with me helping to diagnose the problems. He was willing to come out on a Sunday morning to look at the well, but (like I said before) the owners of the well wouldn't give us access in order to allow him to inspect it.
We got an estimate for some repairs from the other guys, which I emailed to Dave, and he called me within 20 minutes to give me his opinion on their quote. He was honest, didn't try to disparage the other guys in any way, in fact even said that their estimate was probably pretty reasonable, although he thought he could beat their price by a little bit.
I offered to pay him for his telephone time and I offered to pay for his time reviewing the other estimate, but he refused. He said his policy is to not charge unless he actually does an inspection or at lease makes a visit to the site. And, he said, he didn't mind talking on the phone and exchanging text messages and just hoped that he was able to help.
So, bottom line: Dave was a nice guy, very helpful, very straightforward, and seemed also to be very knowledgeable, reasonable, and honest!

Ralph's Pump & Well is definitely the one to call for all your well servicing needs!! After having a very negative experience with a competitor and left with the problem we called them out for, we were cautious when Dave and Tom pulled up to service our well for problems with the pressure tank. However, we were very happy with their work as well as their customer service. Not only are they extremely knowledgeable, they are good communicators, which is equally important - especially since living with a well is new to us.
The work they did on the pressure tank not only fixed the problems we called them out for but also fixed the issue we called the previous well company out for. When we spoke with them about the issues we had with the previous well company's servicing, they remained professional and never spoke negatively about the other well servicing company or their lack of "service" they did on the well. Dave and Tom worked efficiently to resolve our well problems within a reasonable amount of time, while also explaining what the problems are and answering any questions we had to make sure we understood what was going on with our system. They were patient and friendly in explaining how it all works since we had recently purchased the property and hadn't received any information on it.
Their fees are reasonable and as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. These guys are worth it! They didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need, which was refreshing. We will have them back for any further needs in the future without any hesitation. We definitely recommend Ralph's Pump & Well for all your well needs!

Ralph's Pump and Well came highly recommended to me by one of our team's trusted home inspectors. We had a client who needed to have a well inspection done at a home they were in contract to purchase and Dave and Tom were very straight forward and to the point throughout the entire process. Dave was a tremendous help as we assessed a much neglected private well on a property we wanted to purchase. Dave was fantastic, he dianosed my issues and repaired it quickly. I know enough about wells to be dangerous but I know enough that he is an expert. Having no water is a real bummer but I now know I can depend on Dave from Ralphs well and pump to keep the water flowing, and he is fast and very fair. I consider him a friend after him doing such a fantastic job.

Good service, quality workmanship, quality parts, good attitude and fair pricing. My well pump, 340' deep, stopped working. Ralph's came out the morning after I called to do diagnostic work. Dave, the owner, was there that day and replaced the burned out pump, bad wiring from a previous installation. I come from a mechanical background, watched the entire process and it was a 1st class operation. I was pleased.

Last Saturday (3/8/19) our water stopped flowing in the house. I went out to the pump house and saw an old crusty sticker from the last time Dave came out (18 years ago). My in laws said he was great and I thought "I hope he's still in business" wee he is, and he came out that day, diagnosed and got our water flowing and gave us a quote based on the diagnosis. The next Thursday he came out, replaced the pump, well house plumbing and well pump. It wasn't cheap but the service was great, fast and I feel confident that if we have any problems we will be taken care of. With that said I hope we don't see Dave for another 18 years :-D!!

Called after hours on my 51st birthday (during the pandemic) when our well went out and we had no water.
This guy not only answers the phone (after hours), but agrees to come directly out to diagnose the issue.
He literally remembered us and we lived from service he provided in the past (probably 5 years ago).
While I'm waiting for him to arrive, he calls me and said it was all repaired (he was already here and had diagnosed and replaced the faulty pump controller).
